I am a graphic designer with a degree in multimedia computing and design, and I have four years of experience in the creative industry.
work experience
My previous work experience includes working as a digital artist/assistant illustrator as part of my degree, and as a junior graphic designer when I completed my degree. I then took some time out to travel around the USA, Australia and New Zealand alone. This was an amazing experience. Returning from my travels I started working in packaging design as a temp placement which was then made permanent. While this is a little off the career path I have hoped to follow, I have gained some valuable knowledge through working closely with client from all over the world and with dealing with printing companies. My skills and knowledge in graphic design has also been brought in to my current role to create marketing material and corporate presentations for the company.
interests
I have a keen interest in art and photography, something that has come in useful in my current and previous employment. I hope to start up as a part time freelance photographer to go along with whatever route I follow in my graphic design career.
